World Refrigeration Day Inspires Passion for the HVACR Sector
World Refrigeration Day, celebrated on June 26th, emphasizes the important role of the HVACR industry in modern life and society.
A distinguished engineer from an international refrigeration company in Latin America recently shared during a webinar that he decided to pursue a professional career in HVACR after attending one of my seminars years ago. This was exceptionally gratifying to hear, and it demonstrates the influential power of sharing our passion with others.
It is essential to make young HVACR professionals aware of the importance of their roles. They should understand that their work carries significance beyond monetary compensation. While developing a passion for this industry and being compensated for it is rewarding, it is important to recognize that in today’s world, “meaning is the new money”.

HVACR professionals are vital in maintaining critical infrastructure, enhancing quality of life, and safeguarding the planet for future generations. Their contributions span essential areas such as food and pharmaceutical cold chains, human comfort, air quality, and data storage – all of which are indispensable.
By highlighting the noble purposes associated with this profession, we can inspire genuine passion within the industry.
This approach will be effective in attracting and retaining young talent
